5x7x3" deep box contains 5-1/8" tall mini-bust of Marvel Comics character "The Silver Surfer." Limited edition, 111 of 500 produced and released in July, 2002 as Chicago Comicon exclusive. Mini-bust has the Surfer's tip of surf board making up base which has been initialed by Bowen on the reverse. Bowen has also signed the box in black felt tip pen. This mini-bust was also produced in a regular painted version which had and edition size of 5,000. The chrome-plated version is very desirable among collectors and still commands impressive prices on the secondary market. Mint in box. Box has a small .25" tear by tab, o/w N. Mint.
