Story deals with the Brownies of various countries who are pictured on front of book including English Bobby, Uncle Sam, Scottish Brownie, Chinese Brownie, Native American Brownie, etc. Once again, Cox's detailed and beautiful illustrations grace each page as the Brownie's visit landmarks such as The White House, the newly-opened Brooklyn Bridge, Independence Hall and the Columbian Exposition. At the end of book, Brownies gather around Christmas tree. Pages have two areas of staining at top margins not affecting text or images. Light aging/soiling. Fine/VF. Book is missing issued dust jacket as is usually the case. Covers have moderate edge wear with surface paper rubs and scratches. VG.
