Item Description
9.5" tall. c. 1930s by Crown. While figure is obviously that of Charlie McCarthy, this is an unusual variety - factory produced in blackface to capitalize on Al Jolson's popularity as both he and Charlie McCarthy were very popular at the time. Base of bank reads "Feed Me I Save You Money." Crazing as is typical with a .75" crack on base at seam. Tiny sliver flakes to crazing at right-hand pants pocket. Light paint wear to red lips. Fine.
