2-5/8x5.5x1" deep box contains 7/8" by 1-1/8" chrome case watch. Ingraham. c. 1950s. Box insert has "Superman" name and space graphics. Comes with Ingraham guarantee/instructions folder. Box lid has nice images of Superman on two side panels and top panel. Lid has 3/8x1" area of surface paper lift from price sticker removal in upper right-hand corner of top panel along with some glue residue. Front side panel has .25x1.75" sticker remnant. Lid remains bright, clean and tight. Fine. Insert and bottom of box are Exc. Watch features nice full body image of Superman with his comic book logo above. Over-wound and would benefit from a cleaning. Band is without "S" insignia, but as issued - metal parts correct and a matching design to others we have had. Factory most likely ran out of other bands and substituted. Lower band has some wear and is Fine. Upper band is Exc. Case retains full luster and dial is totally clean. Still looks Exc. for display. Rare boxed and only the third such example we've offered in our 40 years.
