Item Description
10.75x14.25" illustration page has 5-panel story portion illustrated by legendary comic book illustrator Toth. For Four Color #1024 "Darby O'Gill And The Little People" published by Dell Comics in 1959. Left-hand side margin is inscribed in black felt tip pen "A Long Over-Due Thank You To A Good Friend And Finder Of Fine Old Comic Gems, Biljo White. From Your Fan, Alex Toth. 13 June 74." White was known for being publisher of fanzine "Batmania" and was the co-creator of comic character The Eye and creator of The Fog, art director of fanzine "Alter-Ego" as well as having a hand in comic magazines "The Comicollector" and "The Stripper." Art is lightly aged and has some correctional fluid marks as originally applied at the time of production. VF.
