9x23" thin paper poster shows Charlie Chaplin's first wife Mildred Harris with legs outstretched in ad for "Slik" that "Prevents Runs In Hosiery." c. 1918-1920, the years Harris was married to Chaplin as text notes "Mildred Harris (Chaplin) Famous Screen Beauty Says: "Slik Saves Me Money, Time And Inconvenience." Folded 3 times vertically and once horizontally. .75" tear along horizontal fold at right-hand margin. Light handling and aging. Would look Exc. framed.
