Item Description
First is "Comic Story Paint Book Featuring Captain Marvel and Captain Marvel Jr." measures 11x14.75" with 64 pages and stiff cardboard covers. Samuel Lowe Co. 1943. Contents consist of two complete Fawcett comic book stories page layouts including several full color comic panels to be used as color guides for larger bw matching illustrations. First story in book is "Captain Marvel Detective" and second is WWII-related "Captain Marvel Jr. And The Iron Heel Of The Huns." With exception of 6 painted panels, rest of book remains unused with lightly tanned, supple pages. Painted name on inside back cover at top has bled onto top of last page. Two Uncle Sam stickers have been added to 2 pages. Cover has spine wear and pinch creases along with some general light handling. Fine. Next is 6.75x11" "Hoppy The Marvel Bunny - A Funny Animal Paint Book." Has 16 unused pages and is ©Fawcett Publications c. 1940s. Unused with some light wear to cover at corners. VF.
