Item Description
Pair from the mid-1930s by Reliance Picture Frame Co. Each is about 7.75x10.75" with wood frame that holds glass with painted scene on reverse, complete with original cardboard backing that includes text about that particular scene. First is "D-120" titled "Sandman Of Lulaby Land" based on the Silly Symphony short. There are some small scattered white paint flakes mostly at top left of large mushroom cap as well as 2 black letters missing from the title at bottom center but most of this is only noticeable when viewed closely. Rest of scene remains bright and vibrant. Small trace of wear to the wood frame. Fine. While Reliance did make Disney Three Little Pigs pictures, the one in this lot is a non-Disney issue from their nursery rhyme series. No. 425 features great scene of the 3 Pigs, their houses and The Big Bad Wolf hiding behind a tree. Light wear to frame but the glass picture itself remains Exc.
