Item Description
8.25x9x9.5" tall box contains 8" tall molded soft plastic by Remco, c. 1967. Helmet was originally issued in 1964 as part of the "Hamilton Invaders" series of Remco toys and was later converted into a Star Trek item to capitalize on the show's popularity. Has attached elastic chin strap and chin guard, large bug-eye thin plastic lens attachment held in place by metal rivets. Minor indents in eye covers but appears unused and complete with original sticker accents. N. Mint. Box has 8.5x8.5" full color paper label showing child wearing helmet with smaller inset images of the USS Enterprise and Mr. Spock. Illustrations of Mr. Spock appear on other 3 sides. Box has even aging and has some handling wear. VF/Exc. A rare and unusual Star Trek item from the show's initial airing. Choice condition.
