2x9x1" addressed mailer that has return address of Ralston Straight Shooters, St. Louis and holds 8.5x12.5x1.75" of printed balsa wood plane w/metal hinges and front weight. "Tom Mix Ralston Straight Shooters" emblem appears on each wing. Comes w/1.75" tall figural steel parachuter w/strings attaching it to 5.25x5.25" tissue paper parachute. 5x7.5" instructions are included. Premium comes w/10x15" Sunday Funnies ad w/mail-in coupon at bottom right and color image of Tom Mix at left saying "Boys/Girls/I'll Send You My Latest Model Streamlined Parachute Plane Free For Two Ralston Box Tops Or One Ralston Box Top And 10¢." Offer expired Jan. 28, 1940. Color comic and ad have been cut from larger newspaper page. Mailer and instructions show wear. Premium is complete and rare. VF.
