Item Description
1950s. First and foremost is 16x22" advertising board/sign. This is thick cardboard with easel back and heavy laminated front coating so the board could be re-used to reflect current specials/sales. Features image of bread loaf and Donald portrait. Moderate scattered aging/edge wear but retains a bright and glossy appearance. Fine. Next is 9x20" paper sign featuring an angry Donald pointing at his loaf of bread with text "I'm Fresh - But It's Fresher!" Light handling wear as rolled. Clean and Fine. The remaining 4 items are waxed paper bread wrappers each nicely formed around a block of foam. These are 9" to 11" in length and feature 3 different wrapper designs plus 1 duplicate. Wrappers feature slightly different designs of Donald and his nephews, bakeries are "McGavin's, Debus, Holsum." Each lightly aged, few small tears and/or edge creases but all display VF. Nice lot.
