This lot consists of two totally different scrapbooks and two totally different recipe card sets from the 1930s and not to be confused with the smaller format and more common recipe card scrapbook/cards. Each scrapbook is 4x7.25" with 24 pages. The recipe cards are each 3.25x5" with each set featuring 24 totally different choice illustrations primarily featuring Mickey Mouse as well as Minnie and Pluto. One album has imprint of "Armstrong's Bread" with example picture shown on the front cover titled "For Me? Goody!" Moderate cover wear/aging including trace of staple rust and thin streak of moisture staining at lower left corner. Cover VG/Fine. Contents clean and VF. Second book has imprint of "Bell White Bread." Example picture on front cover is titled "I See You." Also has moderate cover wear/aging with penciled name on front at top, 1/8" surface paper dot off one of Mickey's hands. Cover VG/Fine, contents clean and VF. The card backs of both sets have various bakery imprints with many of the cards matching the imprints on the albums, however other imprints are present. As these are typically found, card backs have moderate aging, many have some small penciling to top margins. A number have small 1/8" to .25" margin tear. For the most parts, fronts remain bright and clean with vibrant color. While some cards are VG, most remain Fine to VF. Rarely have we offered a set of cards let alone two complete sets with scrapbooks. An instant collection.
