11" long wood toy No. 440 introduced in 1936. Complete and all original including oilcloth ears. Underside has control strings with metal finger loops. Comes with the original 4.5x12" one-sided paper instruction sheet titled "Mickey Mouse's Pal Pluto." Sheet has tanned and top title area has some surface paper rubs. Light folds as originally issued wrapped around the handle of the toy. Overall still Fine and much scarcer than the toy itself. Toy has just trace of dust soiling but is an exceptional Exc. example and rarely found this nice. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
