Item Description
14.75x21.5" paper sign ©1947 Famous Artists Syndicate. Choice art featuring a total of 21 different characters, all gathered around a gigantic ice cream cone. In the bkg. is a billboard which reads "Ice Cream Enjoy Some Everyday In A Flavor-ized Flare-Top All Cake Cone." Several characters are shown holding ice cream cones including Orphan Annie and Capt. Midnight. Other characters include Dick Tracy and Junior, Herby, Smokey Stover, Harold Teen, Denny Dimwit, Perry Winkle, Andy Gump. A similar sign was produced for "Eat-It-All" cones although with a different cone image and advertising on the billboard. Top margin has pencil notation. Horizontal fold at center with a pair of 1" margin tears. Additional scattered margin wear and trace of dust soiling. Fine. This is a file copy from the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
