Item Description
9" tall tin litho and cloth. TPS, Japan. 1950s. Colorful box is illustrated with great circus scenes including clown with violin, high wire artist, performing elephants, monkey on tightrope. One end panel has .75x.75" section that is missing, o/w box has a few color rubs and one tiny .25" square of missing surface paper on lid. Fine. Toy comes with built-in key and is working, clown draws bow across violin while upper body rocks back and forth. Cloth parts of toy are bright and clean. Litho parts show bit of wear mostly evident on bow. VF overall.
