Item Description
11" long tin litho/hard plastic toy. Masudaya, Japan. 1960s. Box has scattered light edge creases, plain box bottom has 3" edge tear. Still tight, Fine. Spaceship is marked "Space Patrol." Nicely detailed including portholes and missile attachments. Features astronaut with identical likeness to Snoopy and the dog's vinyl head is inside of a plastic space helmet. In front of him is a "TV" camera with screen showing outer space scene. Toy works and travels around with bump-and-go action, camera moves and back has "Flashing Booster Light." Each side has some pinpoint paint nicks on the "Space Patrol" names but toy is o/w N. Mint.
