Item Description
9x27x3.25" deep box contains tin buildings and hard plastic accessories with soft plastic figures. Box is complete, however, three 1" to 2" tears are on front panel and left side of box has pushed-in area of lid with 1" tear at back as well. Box has overall age tanning. VG. Parts include 40 cadets although about 10 of these have problems such as broken rifle barrels, missing drumsticks, etc. Cadet figures also would benefit from a cleaning. Also included is assembled front of building along with 4 assembled towers. The 4 metal simulated stone walls are also present to complete a 3-sided display. Flag and base and 2 working cannons with a sprue of plastic bullets (one missing) are also included. Instruction sheet has overall age toning, still Fine. Also included is a 4.25x5.5" pamphlet that opens to 8.5x11" and shows 6 famous generals of the period. Hard plastic figures of these generals with names on bases come with this set. Figures include Marshall, MacArthur, Eisenhower, Gruenther, Bradley and Arnold. These figures are clean and Exc. Metal and plastic buildings appear VF. A nice set from the 1950s.
