Item Description
This ring is an early version of the Palmolive Soap premium flashlight ring. This brass ring base is missing the black plastic-covered contact wire meant to touch a battery and then light the bulb covered by Howdy's head. Most notably, as issued, Howdy's face was pink plastic with red and blue accents. On this ring, Howdy's head is clear translucent plastic without any color at all. Ring base features small image of Clarabell on each side and has nice original luster. A rare prototype version of a scarce premium ring.
