Item Description
1-5/16" white metal with rim hole as issued. DeWitt/Sullivan 1864-4. Front has portrait, stars and slogan with .25" long dark tarnish mark on far right side but rest has much luster remaining. Reverse has similar .25" area at far right without luster but again majority is intact. Reverse reads "Union Candidates 1864 For President Abm. Lincoln Of Illinois. For Vice President And. Johnson Of Tenn." All enclosed by an oak wreath. Among the largest medals of his 1864 campaign. Fine.
