Item Description
Lot of 7. First is large 10.5x13.75" music copyright 1917 but lyrics state by 1920 "De Whole Country Am A Goin' Bone Dry." Great cover with liquor bottles flying away as diner protests his unfilled wine glass and caricature of Volstead peeks around the frame edge. Partial spine split. Pair of 1" edge tears, one repaired, one not. VG. Second is single music of "Pro" sentiment. From 1919 titled "I Never Knew I Had A Wonderful Wife Until The Town Went Dry." Couple small margin tears, 9x12". VF. Third is 1919 "How Are You Going To Wet Your Whistle/When The Whole Damn World Goes Dry?" 7x10.5". Two small areas on left corners with a white mark, rest clean. Fourth is 9x12" from 1919 "America Never Took Water And America Never Will." Slight tone on margins. Fine. Fifth is 8.75x11.5" from 1919 "The Alcoholic Blues." Exc. Sixth is 9x12" from 1919 "Whoa January (You're Going To Be Worse Than July)" Exc. Seventh is 9x12" from 1930 "I Want To Be Here (When We Get Light Wine And Beer)." Exc.
