Item Description
The average item size is 2.5x4". All items are small enough to fit in 5.5x8.5" plastic sheet pages which are in a 8x9" three ring binder. This was Levin's master collection (no duplicates included) and many items have a small pencil date on reverse. Items are o/w largely Mint as issued. Included but not counted, are 7 pages with items related to issues post-Vietnam such as drugs, hunger, B-1 bomber, white power and health. The anti-war items include hand-outs (many are miniatures of larger sized protest posters), string tags, stickers, patches, cards, various pieces of satirical paper money (most picture Nixon). Just a couple single items of note include Peter Max "Love" theme card with 1969 Swami Sivananda quotation, hand-out for "Chicago 8 Conspiracy Trial TDA (the day after)" demonstration, a "Zippy In Miami" sticker and "On To Miami" hand-out to protest GOP 1972 convention, a "Make Love - Not War" bookmark. Many fascinating and rare items. Comes with Hake's COA.
