Item Description
Set of ten 13/16" litho buttons © 1946 Fawcett Publications Inc. Set is comprised of Captain Marvel, Mary Marvel, Captain Marvel Jr., Hoppy the Marvel Bunny, Billy Batson, Bulletman, Golden Arrow, Ibis, Nyoka, Radar. This set was assembled by New York City collector Hy Mandelowitz who in 1977 published the "Premium Guide" collectors fanzine. Buttons have just some pinpoint scattered paint nicks, mostly on extreme rim edges although single nick appears on images of Hoppy, Ibis and Radar. All remain totally bright and glossy w/white bkgs. This is the only complete set we recall being able to offer and all grade Exc. to Mint overall. See Hake's Premium Toy Guide 5th edition #CMR-86-95.
