Item Description
1.25" has backpaper of Stearn & Co., Cleveland with light penciling all over. Pictured beneath "Strongest On Earth" caption is the man who held American Heavyweight Championship in 1901, 1903 and 1905. Tom Jenkins fought the legendary Frank Gotch 9 times. Top text reads "I Wear The Tom Jenkins Shoe" and below is shoemaker text "Miller Bros., Stores All Over." Undated, but among the very earliest sports personality product endorsement buttons. In reflected light, at his right shoulder, is faint "X" impression in cello surface. VF but with normal viewing, displays Mint. First we've offered in years.
