Item Description
Lot of two pieces for the button design first used for the 1957 club kit
w/text "© Nat'l Comics Pub. Inc." printed on the inner rim edge. First
piece is 8x9.5" sheet of art board w/circular pen and ink lines. At center is
4" dia. photo mechanical transfer featuring classic image of Superman breaking
chains w/text above reading "Strength/Courage/Justice." Around this is press
type spelling out "Supermen Of America." Board shows slightest trace of aging
but the button art remains Exc. Second item is 4.75x5" reverse photo mechanical
transfer. Also Exc. Likely unique.
