Item Description
First is 2x6x6.25" tall souvenir china. c. 1880s. Shape of watering can. 4" tall full color transfer shows early image of statue depicted in its original copper color, before it oxidized to it's more familiar blue-green color as we know today. Text at bottom reads "Statue Of Liberty, N.Y." Hallmark on bottom reads "Victoria/Carlsbad/Austria." Gold luster accent remains. Bright, colorful, free of chips/cracks. Exc. Comes with 3.5x5.5" real photo postcard c. 1900s. Photo is close-up of plaque that appears at base of the statue. Ink inscription (possibly French) shows date of 1916. Corner wear. Overall Fine.
