Comes w/length of cord that was to be tied to each communicator and then stretched taut so as to carry the sender's voice to the receiver's piece. Communicators also include a whistle device that could be used as a call sign. There is an illustrated insert inside box that features images of Enterprise, Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock and space station.
