Item Description
9.75x12.75" vintage photo for an un-named Charlie Chaplin Keystone short. Photo was taken by O.L. Meister at Vaudett Theatre in Milwaukee, Wis. June 24, 1914, during Chaplin's first year with Keystone. Photo shows theater front which is emblazened with many Chaplin images including signs, posters, pennants and standees. Many of these items have never turned up for sale on the secondary market. Box office notes admission was 5¢. Theater usher, ticket-taker and probable manager are in photo. Photo has been matted and framed. 1/8" puncture in top right-hand corner not affecting any Chaplin images. Fine.
