Item Description
5.75x9.5x2" deep box. Set was made by J&L Randall Ltd. and is a Merit Product from the 1950s. This set works in a similar fashion to #2974, the Star Trek communicator set. The handsets in this set have a more futuristic design which includes "Atomic Booster Rings, Sonic Cable Terminal, Space Signal Intake Vanes." Box features gorgeous art of walkie talkie set and "Space Patrol" uniformed children using device. Bkg. is alien world w/planets and spaceship in far bkg. Insert has spacemen using devices on alien world w/spaceship in foreground. Box has some lt. wear and creases, two .5" tears to diecut lid have tape repairs on reverse. Set is N. Mint in VF box.
