Item numbers 800 though 2307 in auction 193
Item Description
Large oval glazed ceramic dish with high rim and measurements of 6.5x8.5x2" deep produced in England in the early 1930s. Exceptional scene is captioned "Here's Something To Tickle You." Depicted is Mickey holding a pointed daggar and jabbing a heavy-set pig in farm overalls and hat making him leap into the air. Lower edge of scene includes name "Walter E. Disney." Front edge of the piece is inscribed "Baby's Plate." Underside has the Paragon company mark along with a specific registration number. The scene has scattered very small wear marks and the only one standing out much at all is a .25" white hairline scratch on Mickey's one ear. Overall appearance remains totally bright and glossy. All Paragon china is highly sought after and this is our first offered example of this design. VF.
