Auction #182 - Part II
Item numbers 1500-3431 in auction 182
Item Description
10x14" stiff cardboard sign, early 1940s. Bottom margin has pair of folding tabs where this fit between large cakes of Swan soap on a display. Nice caricature illustrations of Burns and Allen along w/swan. Burns and Allen are depicted with suitcases in a wagon being pulled by the swan. Text includes "Listen To George Burns & Gracie Allen Every Tues. Night.” Along the right side on the illustration of Burns and Allen is a 5.5” diagonal crease, which does not distract from the art, but is noticeable. Has scattered trace of dust soiling, a few ft. scattered crease lines but still has a bright appearance w/strong color. Fine.
