15.5x21.5" Sunday funnies ad. Detroit Sunday Times 8/15/1937. Illustrations/text explain in detail how to acquire the illustrated flag for 10¢ plus mail-in coupon. 1.25" split at left centerfold, o/w ad is Fine. Comes with advertised 13x17" printed muslin flag. Flag is folded as issued. Characters include Popeye, Tillie the Toiler, Jiggs and Mrs. Jiggs, Toots & Casper, Little Annie Rooney, Katzenjammer Kids, Flash Gordon, Barney Google & Krazy Kat. Very faint (barely noticeable) stain below Olive Oyl, o/w flag is bright, clean, Exc.
