1940 Wheaties premium. Brown cardboard mailing box is 2.25x3x1" deep. Mailing label shows some wear at left as originally opened. Still tight, sealed at right and VF. The small instruction sheet/order blank is 3x3.75" on green paper w/printing on each side in darker green. One side includes instructions; the other is an order blank for additional rings that were available for one box top and 10 cents. Paper shows wear; pair of original fold lines and several minor creases and several very small tears at the bottom center. Still clean, VG. Ring base features raised alligator designs on each band. Top has raised oval stone. Glows brightly, only lt. aging. Exc. A great opportunity to acquire both the premium ring and this rarely seen box.
