Item Description
6.5x10.5" yellow/black outer envelope contains complete, extensive and elaborate premium from 1945. This illustrated outer envelope pictures and lists the six items in this kit which was avilable w/purchase of two packages of Wheaties cereal. All of the kit items fit inside in separate 6x10.5" envelope which itself fits into the outer envelope. This inner envelope has printing in black and was used for mailing the kit but this version repackaged w/the outer envelope for distribution through stores. These envelopes are the first two items shown in our photo w/other items described in the order they are pictured. 10.25x10.75" Vol. 1 #2 four-page issue of "Cub Pilot Corps News." Front includes illustrations of aircraft, inside includes flight test and ad for Wheaties Library of Sports books while back cover includes assembly instructions for the Cub Pilot Trainer. 8.5x8.5" transfer sheet w/four small and three larger "Cub Pilot Corps" wings transfers in blue. "How To Fly Practical Flight-Manual" is 5.25x8.25" w/24 pages in both color and bw. Includes detailed information on how to use the cub pilot trainer plus many bw photos of actual aircraft featuring information that needed to be learned before taking pilot exam. Book is essentially high grade, but with rusted staples. Final three pieces are each 5x10" and are punch-out sheets for assembly of the Cub Pilot Trainer w/parts printed in bw/brown/yellow. Set comes complete w/2" white cardboard control stick which is almost always missing. The outer envelope has trace of margin aging, scattered tiny age spots, inner envelope also has st. margin aging but these are Fine and VF respectively while contents are unused, unpunched rare and essentially Mint as issued.
