Item Description
Virtually complete 1938 Quaker premium. 1x2.75x4.5" mailing box. Tracy name/image appears on mailing label. Box shows light wear. Holds original form. Box Fine. Contents includes fold-over instruction leaflet with "Detective Secrets." Folded as issued/handling wear. Also, 4x10.5" tissue sheet of 4-character portrait negatives. Next is empty, but complete vial bottle with "Formula Q-11" ink-stained label. Also includes two die-cut stiff paper mat boards, glass sheet, wood stylus. Unopened pack of picture fixative has adhesive tape reinforcement along seam. Only missing item is original quantity of generic cotton. Tissue negative sheets have images of Tracy, Pat Patton, Tess Trueheart, Dick Tracy Jr. For use in printing process. Instructions explain use of ink, stylus, writing tool. Rarely found this complete. Exc. Comes with 10.5x15.5" full color clipped ad from Sunday funnies. Top portion of ad features Shirley Temple. Mail-in premium offer shows kit and Tracy. Exc.
