3x5.5x16" box. Early 1950s. ©Bob Smith/Designed By Raye Copelan/Manufactured By Peter Puppet Playthings Inc. Instructions for using the "Unitrol" (one-piece control) explained inside lid. Box lid and sides with extensive wear including excessive use of clear tape reinforcement including clear tape over 2 2"x3" holes on sides of box. Box Good. Howdy has composition feet, hands, head. A few tiny hairlines on face visible under close inspection. Plaid shirt has repeat images of Howdy, Clarabell, Princess. Overall marionette Exc.
