Lot of three. First is 2.5x3.5" book. 64 pages. 1939 Skelly Oil premium. Book titled "Captain Midnight's Trick And Riddle Book." 30 pages of trick instructions. 24 pages of 300 riddles with answers. Lightly tanned pages but clean. Light wear on cover edges. Local dealer name stamped on back. Exc. Next is "Captain Midnight's Award Of Merit" certificate. 6.5x8.5" folded as issued Ovaltine premium. 1943. Illustration at top center of "The Twenty-Four Carat Gold Plated Pilot's Badge." Bottom with simulated Secret Squadron seal and Midnight facsimile signature. Three diagonal margin creases. Light wear. Certificate VG. Last is 3.75x5.5" stiff paper contest entry acknowledgement card. Top reads "Captain Midnight's Secret Squadron Headquarters." 1947 card thanks recipient for entry of contest featured in club manual and notes "Your Special Gift From Me Is Enclosed." Light handling creases. Fine.
