9x13x2.75" deep box contains coonskin cap by Weathermac Corp. c. 1955. Lid features image of Fess Parker as Davy on top and all sides plus notes "Fits All Head Sizes." Box has scattered traces of moisture staining, mostly on the side panels. Box bottom has one corner split, lid remains tight and appearance remains totally bright and glossy. Technically VG but top panel displays VF. The nice quality hat is covered by actual animal fur and complete with 3" dia. thick cardboard attachment on the front of Fess Parker as Davy. This is typically found with rust on the staples holding this attachment in place, however, this is an exceptional example with no evident traces of wear. N. Mint. Nicest condition example we've seen.
