Item Description
13.75x20.25x5.25" deep. "A Baxter Toy," 1950s. Lid opens to reveal mostly thin molded plastic control board. Designed with two battery operated lights but not working and one of these small bulbs is missing. Other features are manually operated and include knobs/dials such as "Altitude, Wind Speed, Fuel Consumption, Oxygen Control," etc. Has string for "Interplanetary Phone" but the unit itself is missing. The space theme images visible on the "Enemy Radar Scope/Solar System Radar Scope" can be manually changed. The plastic insert has a number of small cracks mostly at corner areas. Front closure flap piece is loose but here. Lid has scattered creasing and a 2" tear at bottom edge. While the toy shows wear, it is still VG and Rare.
