Item Description
6.25" all tin litho toy with built-in key. Box illustrated on all sides and includes Donald's nephews. Box has edge wear with a few small corner tears. Clean and Fine. Toy depicts Donald holding a pair of drumsticks and attached to his stomach is a drum with Donald portrait on the drum head. Two versions of this tin toy were produced, one that stands stationary while he plays the drum and this more elaborate version in which Donald walks forward as he plays the drum. Both toys came in totally different boxes. This is the scarcer of the two. Scattered minute paint nicks but totally bright and glossy. Typical aging on rear end at tabs. Still an Exc. example. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
