Item numbers 800 though 2307 in auction 193
Item Description
5.5x7.25x7.5" tall painted wood. 1939. Front has high relief images of Snow White and all the Dwarfs against bkg. of cottage and large shuttered window. Tuning and volume knobs are simulated acorns. A simulated jewel on Snow White's dress lights when radio is turned on. Back of case has 1.5" dia. metal "Emerson" plate and is marked "Model Q236." Speaker cloth remains intact. Has all original wiring, tubes, etc. but cord does have some fraying and electrical tape repair and use without re-wiring could be hazardous. Radio shows all-over moderate wear with some color rubs to sides, 2" scratch on top edge of right side panel. Painted images on the front show only small traces of wear. Overall appearance remains bright and clean, a very nice example of this classic and rare radio. Fine. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
