Item Description
Lot of two, both tin litho c. 1938 and each is about 5x8x4" deep. Each features choice art on lids and all sides. First is for fish packing company "Grundvig & Engelsviken" of Norway. Tin features specialty art including wrap-around scene of the Dwarfs carrying product tins. Moderate rim wear with traces of bare metal. Image areas have additional scattered paint nicks/scratches. Still quite glossy, colorful and VG. Second tin has pair of carrying handles and is marked "Par Aut. Walt Disney-Mickey Mouse - S.A." Trace of oxidation to extreme edges of handles. Few small edge indents. Bit of paint wear around rim edge of lid. Glossy, Fine. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
