Contains 6 pulps published by Standard. Hardcover contains Vol. 43, Nos. 1-3; Vol. 44, Nos. 1-3 published Feb.-Dec., 1944. Aug. 1944 issue has cover creasing. Dec. issue features skeletal hand manipulating woman on puppet strings. Each pulp deals with aspects of detective and adventure hero featuring masked "Phantom Detective" on many covers. Usual cover overlap has been trimmed as these pulps are bound in hardcover volumes. Some light traces of wear to margins, overall Fine.
