Item Description
Large and impressive 79x81" poster by Morgan Litho Corporation of Cleveland, Ohio has been linen-mounted and rolled. For classic 1939 Paramount Fleischer Cartoon, the first animated feature from a studio other than Disney. Of interesting note, early plans called for Popeye to play the role of Gulliver. Nice large image of Gulliver with his enormous feet facing viewer. Numerous tiny Lilliputians swarm over and around the bound Gulliver. Poster has extensive professional restoration and color touch-ups but blends nicely and is only noticeable upon close inspection. Displays Exc. Believed to be the only known copy of this six-sheet poster.Rare.
