Item Description
This Japan-made toy as we title it came boxed with the label including the early notice "Copyright Walt E. Disney" along with the name of the toy's distributor Geo. Borgfeldt Corp. The toy is 3.25x7.5x7.5" tall. The rocking horse is hand painted and has just a few small hairlines of paint missing primarily from the legs. The celluloid figure of Mickey has movable arms and legs. A generic string which served as reins and which were anchored in a small hole on Mickey's left hand are missing. The Mickey figure popped free and has been professionally re-glued to the small metal strip in the horse's saddle area. Small markings on Mickey's back include a copyright symbol, a letter "T" in a circle representing the maker and the words "Made In Japan." A few additional small hairlines of pale blue paint off the wooden base but overall condition is VF and the toy works properly. The first we've offered in many years.
