Metal base is 5" dia. by 4" tall to the top of the base and 6.5" tall to the top of the socket. 1935 by Soreng-Manegold in beige, also issued in green. Around the sides are 3 identical 1.5" tall Mickey decals, all 3 nearly 100% complete. Lamp works and has original electric cord with only small fraying to the fabric cover. Lamp base retains glossy finish and overall is Exc. The rare aspect of this item is the tubular bulb 4" tall. Its base is painted white with a .75" tall full color decal of long-billed Donald c. 1935 with tiny "©W.D." below. On one side a .25" spot of the white paint is gone but this doesn't show from the front view. Above the Donald decal on the interior of the bulb is a flat die-cut image of Mickey with one hand on his hip and one raised. When the light is turned on, this figure of Mickey glows a deep pink color. We know of a Donald light bulb made the same way, this is only the first or second Mickey example we've seen. Rare.
