Item Description
Lot of two, each 8.75x10.75" original wood frame with glass over the glow picture. Each has Disney copyright and c. 1943. Both feature female Gremlin "Fifinella," one of her with 3 baby Gremlins known as "Widgets" with silhouette plane images in the bkg. while the other depicts her with 1 Widget, another Gremlin and large plane shown in the bkg. Disney planned to make a movie about the Gremlins but it was never done and aside from a hard cover book (see item #1441), only a few pieces of vintage merchandise were produced and all is rare. Wood frames show moderate aging, one has hanging hole added to top center. Pictures themselves show just light aging (no longer glow) but remain clean with strong color. Exc.
