Item Description
This is the third Studio-issued card (see item #1424 for information on the first two cards). 4.75x8.75" mailer card on textured paper opens to 8.75x11.5". As folded, front of card has inked address for Los Angeles, CA. book store "Lafland" and postmark of Dec. 19, 1932. Also as folded, attached to the back of the card is a small Mickey Mouse with Christmas tree sticker. Card interior has choice 4x8" tipped-in paper sheet with scene of a horse-drawn carriage containing Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Horace and Clarabelle. Top tab has Christmas tree design, bottom flap has imprint reading "Walt Disney And Mickey Mouse Present Their Silly Symphony Seasons Greetings." Card shows small trace of wear/aging mostly along the original fold lines with a few tiny tears. Fine while the tipped-in sheet is Exc. As with item #1424, this card is very rare and this is the only example we've offered in our 41 years.
