Auction 193 - Part II
Item numbers 800 though 2307 in auction 193
Item Description
12" tall with body and clothing in several different types of fabric with some stuffing posed over an internal wire frame so that both her arms and legs could be posed if desired. Her eyes and nose are hard black spheres either of glass or plastic. She has individual inset stiff whiskers, hand-stitched eyebrows and hand-stitched mouth outline with extending red fabric tongue. Her head seems to be primarily felt and she wears a large white felt collar. At her waist a white fabric apron is tied at the back and it's front partially covers her black/white dress. While the stitching is very neatly done, overall our impression is that the doll is hand-made rather than manufactured. Extremely Fine and Rare.
