Auction 193 - Part II
Item numbers 800 though 2307 in auction 193
Item Description
16" tall to the ear tops with exceptionally large head on generously proportioned body standing firmly in large hollow molded cardboard shoes complete with oilcloth edges to represent shoe soles. He is also accented by original oilcloth eyes and long string whiskers. A small loss of stuffing at each shoulder with a neatly stitched repair that shows little. The face has a small bit of dust soiling and normal tanning and there is a small bit of tan stain on each hand. This is the only example we can recall offering with this style of shoe. The doll overall is most impressive in size and he stands rock solid for display. Overall Near VF. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
