7.5" long tin litho by Marx, 1930s. Nicely detailed toy includes raccoon coat-clad college student with pair of die-cut girls on trunk. This is the scarcer style of this toy. Toy also has separate tin litho suitcase and plastic windshield both of which are usually missing. Toy works and travels around in erratic fashion as driver's head spins and every so often car rears up. Toy has scattered light wear from use and body of toy and trunk have slightly darkened with age. Rear wheels have some paint loss on edges from play wear. Fine.
